Meet the executive board
Below is our current Executive Board for the 2025-2026 school year. These eleven young professionals are the hard-working undergraduate students who keep this organization running firmly.
Haleigh Oleson
President
Major: Sports Business
Favorite Sports Team: Milwaukee Brewers
Bio: Haleigh Oleson is from Pulaski, Wisconsin, and is a Junior at the W.P. Carey School of Business. Because of SBA, Haleigh has received two internship opportunities with the Athletics and the Green Bay Rockers. This past summer she was an onfield host for the Green Bay Rockers. She is currently an operations coordinator for the Athletics. Outside of SBA, Haleigh enjoys working out, reading, spending time outside, and being with family and friends. Haleigh is excited to meet new members of SBA this year and grow her knowledge of the sports business. In the future, she would like to work for a professional baseball team in either marketing or event operations.

Kylie Bursey
Executive Vice President
Majors: Sports Business & Marketing
Favorite Sports Team: San Francisco Giants
Bio: Kylie is a junior at Arizona State University, originally from Madera, California. She currently serves as the Lead Student Assistant for Senior Administration with Sun Devil Athletics, where she supports executive leadership in day-to-day operations, event planning, and administrative coordination.
Kylie’s previous experience includes working as a Marketing Outreach Intern with Front Runner Sports, and as a Marketing and Branding Intern with the Sun Angel Collective.
In addition to her professional roles, Kylie is a Sports Business Scholar at ASU, recognized for her academic achievement and dedication to the sports industry. She is passionate about combining her skills in marketing, branding, and event operations to create engaging fan experiences and impactful organizational outcomes.
Looking ahead, Kylie aspires to work for a professional sports team in marketing or event coordination.

Griffin McMullen
Vice President of Finance
Majors: Sports Business & Finance
Favorite Sports Team: Chicago Cubs
Bio: Griffin McMullen is a junior from Orange County, California pursuing degrees in sports business and finance. After transferring to ASU as a sophomore, he gained experience working with professional sports teams such as the Athletics and the Chicago Bears in event operations. Currently, Griffin is a corporate partnerships intern with Sun Devil Athletics. Griffin hopes to use sports and live events as a way to bring people together through powerful shared experiences.

Evie Hoff
Vice President of Member & Alumni Relations
Major: Sports Business
Favorite Sports Team: Seattle Seahawks
Bio: Evie Hoff is a junior at Arizona State University and a student in Barrett, The Honors College. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she is passionate about community engagement and enhancing the athletics experience beyond the game itself.
She is in her second year with Sun Devil Athletics, where she serves as a Gameday Operations Lead Intern in Marketing and Game Presentation. In this role, she leads others in bringing Sun Devil Athletics’ mission to life, creating excitement and memorable experiences for fans at ASU sporting events. In addition, Evie has spent three years as a swim coach, an experience that fuels her love for working with kids and her commitment to building meaningful connections within the community.
Beyond her professional roles, Evie is recognized as a Sports Business Scholar, reflecting her dedication to academic excellence and her drive to succeed in the sports industry. She is also an active leader in Kappa Alpha Theta, where she has held multiple leadership positions and continues to inspire others in spaces beyond athletics. She is also an active member of the Swim Club at ASU, where she served as the Marketing, Outreach, and Awards Committee Lead for the 2025 College Club Swimming National Championships, hosted by Arizona State in March 2025.
Looking ahead, Evie aspires to pursue a career with a professional sports organization in a community engagement role, where she can unite her passion for inclusivity and her love of sports to make a lasting impact on the communities she serves.

Ryan Fingerman
Vice President of Operations
Majors: Sports Business & Marketing
Favorite Sports Team: Pittsburgh Steelers
Bio: Ryan Fingerman is a sophomore from Scottsdale, Arizona, pursuing dual degrees in Sports Business and Marketing with a certificate in Leadership in Business at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Over the summer, Ryan interned with the Junior Golf Association of Arizona as a Communications Intern, where he contributed to marketing, social media strategy, photography, videography, and tournament operations. During his time with the JGAA, he supported major junior golf events such as the Girls Junior Americas Cup and USGA Junior Amateur Qualifiers. He is currently a Corporate Partnerships Intern with Sun Devil Athletics and also works at Mullett Arena as an Iceplex Associate, assisting with events for ASU Hockey and the G League’s Valley Suns. Ryan also works independently as a multimedia specialist, creating content across videography, photography, and graphic design.
Outside of SBA, Ryan is a Sports Business Scholar and an active T-20 Tillman Scholar. Ryan is a former jiu-jitsu coach and competitor who continues to train and compete in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, travelling, working out, and music. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in athlete marketing or partnerships, with the long-term goal of becoming a sports agent.

Shandi Allison
Vice President of Marketing
Major: Sports Business
Favorite Sports Team: Los Angeles Dodgers
Bio: Shandi Allison is a senior from Mesa, Arizona, studying Sports Business at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business. A former dual-sport collegiate athlete in indoor and beach volleyball at Chandler-Gilbert/South Mountain Community College, she helped her NJCAA Division II team achieve a No. 4 national ranking in 2023 and served as captain of the 5s pair at the NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship in Florida.
Currently, Shandi works as a Sports Marketing Associate at Flex Sports Group, a boutique sports agency in Los Angeles. In this role, she supports brand visibility and client engagement by developing marketing strategies, designing graphic content, creating recruitment materials, and identifying new marketing opportunities. Over the summer, she served as a Marketing Intern for the Native American Basketball Invitational, one of North America’s largest Indigenous youth sporting events, where she assisted the Communications Manager in creating and executing cross-platform social media strategies.
Shandi has also volunteered as part of marketing at the Ford Championship, collaborating directly with the LPGA marketing team to help execute the 75th Anniversary Mobile Experience, a key fan activation at the event. Additionally, she contributed to MLB Spring Training at Salt River Fields as a member of the Cactus Crew, supporting game day operations for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies through in-game promotions designed to enhance fan engagement and team visibility.
Beyond her work in sports, Shandi serves as Chief Relations Officer for the Native American Business Organization at ASU, where she focuses on community building, student support, and outreach through events and promotional initiatives. She is also a proud recipient of the ASU Wells Fargo Scholar in Business and the Marketing Bissell Pohl Scholarship.

Ryan Bergman
Vice President of Outreach
Major: Sports Business
Favorite Sports Team: Arizona Diamondbacks
Bio: Ryan Bergman is a junior originally from Branchburg, New Jersey, but now resides in Scottsdale, AZ. He most recently worked for the Athletics in spring training as a Game Day Operations Intern, and previously as a Production Assistant within the organization. He has also worked as an Event Operations Intern for Insignia Event Services and the Arizona Cardinals.
Ryan grew up playing and being around the game of baseball, and now appreciates researching and learning all that he can about the game and its history. He also enjoys working out in his free time when he’s not around the diamond. One of his goals is to visit every Major League Baseball stadium, of which he has attended a game at 16 stadiums so far. In addition, he loves to travel and experience historical sites across the country.
In the future, he wants to work in Major League Baseball and positively contribute to the league’s legacy. Ryan is enthusiastic to contribute to SBA and elevate the club’s outreach initiatives this year.

Jack Barrow
Vice President of Social Events
Major: Sports Business
Favorite Sports Team: Denver Broncos
Bio: Jack is from Scottsdale, Arizona, and is a Sophomore majoring in Sports Business at the W.P. Carey School of Business. He currently serves as the Vice President of Social Events for the Sports Business Association and is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. This past year, he interned with the PGA Southwest Section as a Tournament Operations Intern, gaining hands-on experience in planning and running events. In February, he joined the SBA Outreach Trip to Chicago, which deepened his interest in building a career in the sports industry.
Jack grew up playing baseball, running track, and cross-country, but football has always been his greatest passion. He believes sports have a unique way of bringing people together and creating a sense of community that goes beyond the game. In his free time, he enjoys working out, hiking, traveling, and watching sports.
As VP of Social Events, Jack is excited to create events that help connect members, build friendships, and keep everyone engaged. After graduation, he hopes to work in community engagement within sports, helping teams and athletes make a positive impact both on and off the field.

Brayden Ellis
Director of Mentorship
Majors: Sports Business & Strategic Communications
Favorite Sports Team: Boston Bruins
Bio: Brayden Ellis is from Murrieta, California, and is a junior at Arizona State University studying Sports Business and Public Relations/Strategic Communications. She currently works with Sun Devil Athletics as a Sound Technician and spent this past summer as a Game Day Operations Intern for the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Brayden aspires to work in Public Relations and Communications for an NHL or MLB team. Through her involvement in SBA, she hopes to create a welcoming environment for new members and be someone they can always turn to for support.

Robert Riccio
Director of Alumni Relations
Major: Sports Business
Favorite Sports Team: New York Giants
Bio: Robert Riccio is a senior at Arizona State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Business at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Originally from Milford, Pennsylvania, Robert currently serves as the Director of Alumni Relations for the Sports Business Association, where he works to strengthen professional connections between students and alumni in the sports industry.
Robert brings a diverse set of experiences that bridge athletics, analytics, and leadership. He currently works as a Sports Analytics Intern with Thursday Sports, where he created performance-tracking systems, streamlined data for staff and leadership, and provided weekly insights on results from the NFL games. His time in the United States Coast Guard further developed his leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. In roles ranging from law enforcement operations to procurement and warehouse management, Robert oversaw multimillion-dollar inventories, processed high-value procurements, conducted search and rescue missions, and trained others on critical systems within the Department of Homeland Security.
Looking ahead, Robert aspires to join the front office or player development side of a professional sports team. He is most energized when collaborating directly with players and staff, applying his mindset, and contributing as part of a team to drive success on and off the field.

Rachel Lauer
Director of Website Engagement
Majors: Sports Business & Marketing
Favorite Sports Team: Arizona Cardinals
Bio: Rachel Lauer is a junior from Peoria, AZ, pursuing dual degrees in Sports Business and Marketing at Arizona State University. This past spring, Rachel interned with the Arizona Youth Football League, overseeing gameday operations and filming content for social media. She is currently a Marketing and Communications Intern for the AZ Sports & Events Alliance, host of the 2026 NCAA Women’s Final Four. She also volunteers as a Marketing and Communications Intern for a local non-profit, Phoenix Allies for Community Health.
Outside of SBA, Rachel serves as the Vice President of Logistics for the Sustainable Business Student Association and the Director of Professional Opportunities for the Women’s Business Leaders Association. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in sports marketing or merchandising.
