Meet the executive board

Below is our current Executive Board for the 2017-2018 school year. These nine young professionals are the hard-working undergraduate students who keep this organization running firmly.

Majors: Marketing and Sports & Media Studies
Maddie is a senior from Albuquerque, New Mexico studying Marketing and Sports & Media Studies.  During her time at ASU, Maddie has interned with Navigate Research, AdSport, and most recently with the Arizona Cardinals on the Partner Service and Activation team.  In her spare time, you can find Maddie at spin class or playing with her dog.  Maddie aims to make a difference with her life through the power of sport.

Major: Marketing & Film Production Minor
Ben is a current junior studying at W. P. Carey as well as Barrett, The Honors College at ASU. He is the proud creator of this updated website. During his tenure at ASU, Ben has interned with FOX Sports Arizona, has worked closely alongside the NCAA Final Four Phoenix, and even taught a class of 19 freshmen students core business etiquette/practice. He has also volunteered for the Arizona Cardinals. Ben is originally from Chicago – so he enjoys the mountain views and constant sunshine in Arizona. Ben hopes to one day work in the entertainment business and is always seeking more experience in sports.

Sherrick has been a proud member of SBA since his freshman year. The organization has provided him numerous opportunities to network with both professionals in the sports industry and gain experience in the industry by volunteering and interning. He has volunteered for the NCAA Final Four, Arizona Cardinals, and the Waste Management Open. Last spring he interned for the Oakland Athletics, and currently interns in marketing for the Phoenix Mercury and in corporate partnerships for Sun Devil Athletics.
Tim Roschmann

Tim Roschmann is a junior embarking on his first year on the Sports Business Association Executive Board. Tim is a native of Germany, and has lived in the United States for the past six years. While attending ASU as a full time student, Tim currently works as a recruiting assistant for the Arizona State Football team. Tim’s passion for working in sports has ultimately led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in Sports and Media Studies. This passion pushed Tim to run for the SBA Executive Board, and he is eager to begin working closely with his fellow students and Executive Board members on new events and projects.

Ryan is a current Sophomore in Barrett, The Honors College. Ryan is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. On top of working his position as Vice President of Finance for SBA, Ryan also works full time as a Student Manager for the Arizona State Football team. Ryan is also a proud brother and Treasurer for the Sigma Pi fraternity. In the summer of 2017, Ryan was fortunate to study abroad in London. Ryan is eager to continue learning and growing as a young professional in the sports industry.

Jacqueline is a sophomore from Arizona majoring in Sports and Media and Marketing, and minoring in Media Analysis. Jacqueline currently is an intern for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Corporate Partnerships department, and also has experience with the Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Athletics, and Arizona Coyotes. Jacqueline was a competitive figure skater for 13 years, and still enjoys the sport in her free time. She also loves to hike, read, and spend time with family and friends.

Majors: Business Management and Sports & Media Studies
Mark “Gator” Hunter is a Sophomore from Chandler Arizona double majoring in Business Sports and Media Studies and Business Management. He came to ASU after serving a 2 year mission in Samoa. While at ASU, Mark has worked as the Assistant Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Cicero Prep Academy. Mark looks forward to working with the Arizona Cardinals this season, and interning in ASU’s Athletic Department. After graduation, Mark plans to attend ASU’s Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law to pursue a Master of Sport Law and Business.

Major: Sports & Media Studies
Sydney is currently a senior majoring in Sports and Media Studies. She has worked with the Oakland A’s, Final Four, and Arizona Cardinals. Sydney has grown up a fan of both Kansas City and Arizona sports teams. Sydney spent a majority of her life as a competitive dancer and traveled throughout the US with her teams to National and World competitions. She is also a member of the Pi Beta Phi fraternity for women and has been apart of several committees within the organization. In her free time she loves to hike, do yoga, work out, and spend time with her family. She has lived in Arizona her whole life, but hopes to venture out of the state after graduation.
Delilah Cassidy

Year: Senior
Majors: Sports Journalism and Sports & Media Studies
Now a senior, Delilah is a Barrett, The Honors College student. Delilah has interned all over the sports community at Sun Devil Athletics, Navigate Research, the Oakland Athletics, Arizona Cardinals, FOX Sports Arizona, FOX Sports Detroit, and Arizona Sports 98.7FM. She currently is a production intern for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the sports intern at NBC 12 News. Her ultimate goal is to be an on-air host for a regional sports network. In her spare time, Delilah loves to play intramural sports and spend time with friends and family.
